REFERENCE NO. 18 OF 2024 ANN-GRACE JUAN FIORENTINA LORO v. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN

The Applicant alleges that the Respondent’s State act of forcefully kidnaping her husband (Kalisto Kado) who is the former mayor of Juba from his residence in Hai Kuwait by the national security soldiers of Juba and taken to a house known as Blue House whereby he was detained, tortured and intimidated not to resist arrest or the national security would kill him, without any explainable reasons to his family was contrary to  Articles 6(d), 7(2) and 8(1)(c) of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African community.
