REFERENCE NO. 33 OF 2023 THE MINISTER OF JUSTICE OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (DRC) v. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF RWANDA

The Applicant alleges that the Respondent’s State has continued and/or intensified its impugned actions of aggression against it and violated its sovereignty, territorial integrity, political stability, political independence and has caused massive human rights violations in the North Kivu region by funding, providing arms and otherwise supporting the activities of rebel groups that perpetrate the said violations contrary to Articles 5(3), 6(a),(b),(c),(d), 7(2), 8(1)(c) and 124(1),(2) and (5) of the Treaty of the Establishing the East African Community.
