It is with great sadness that the East African Court of Justice learnt of the death of the Honourable Justice Benjamin Patrick Kubo from the Republic of Kenya.
Justice Benjamin Kubo who served at EACJ as a Judge of the First Instance Division died on Wednesday 4th January, 2023.
During his tenure at the EACJ between November 2008 – June 2011, Justice Kubo, served the bench with boundless dedication, utmost humility and commitment. He was an invaluable Judge, who played a pivotal role in contributing to the growing jurisprudence of the Court.
The Region has lost an instrumental legal mind whose contribution to the EAC integration agenda will be long remembered.
The President and Judges, the Deputy Registrar and all staff of the East African Court of Justice, wish to extend their deepest condolences to Hon. Justice Kubo’s family.
