Job Ndugai that did not disclose reasons had no legal effect as the resignation was supposed to be submitted to the clerk of the national assembly and not the secretary of the political party the speaker belongs per article 149(1) of the constitution of the United Republic of Tanzania and therefore contravened Article 38(3), 6(d) and 7(2) of the Treaty for the Establishment of East African Community.
