REFERENCE NO. 46 OF 2022 ANNA EBAJU ADEKE VS THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF UGANDA

The Applicant alleges that, the decisions of the Respondent’s Makerere University Council on 15 July, 2022 interalia; to terminate the electoral process of the 88th Students Guild leadership, to suspend the Makerere University Guild, Senior Common Room including the Caretaker Government Guild and all Guild Leaders structures and to ban physical elections at the University were unlawful and infringement of Articles 6(d) and 7(2) of the Treaty for the Establishment of East African Community.
