The Applicant alleges that, The Respondent’s failure to conduct election, neither debate allowed in Parliament of Burundi for the 5th EALA members within the meaning of Article 50 of EAC Treaty without publication/ invitation of notice for Burundian aspirant to apply for EALA position, appointment of members to EALA by the Burundian National Assembly Speaker who is not a president neither a member of CNL Party is a violation and breach or infringe Articles 6(d), 7(2), 50 and 51 of the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community.
