REFERENCE NO. 54 OF 2022 GAI PETER MANYUONI TAIYAR VS THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY

The Applicant alleges that the actions and omissions of the Respondent of unlawfully and unreasonably locking him out of interviews held in August 2022 for the position of Senior Public Relations Officer of the East African Legislative Assembly amount to violations of Articles 6(d), 7(1)(b) and 8(1)(c) of the Treaty of the Establishment of East African Community and also Regulation 20(6) of the EAC Staff Rules and Regulations, 2006.
